Earlier this year Corwen Museum arranged a Schools Painting\nCompetition for local schools in Edeyrnion, with the help and support of the\nClwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, through their\nPicturesque Landscapes Project.  Ysgol\nCaer Drewyn and Ysgol Carrog children chose to take part and produced some\nlovely artwork showing their favourite local landscapes, a display that\ncomplements the Exhibition the Museum has put on this year – Artists and\nAuthors with a Connection to Edeyrnion. \nOur judges, Julie and Nicholas Macnamara, Jude Wood and Ben Davis had a\ndifficult job deciding on the winners as the standard was so good, but a\nunanimous decision was reached.  There\nwas to be a Prize-Giving Ceremony this Saturday, 21st<\/sup> March, but,\nbecause of the Coronavirus, this has had to be cancelled, so the prizes have\nbeen delivered to Jayne Davies, Headmistress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ysgol Caer Drewyn winners are 1st<\/sup>. Millie Mae, 2nd<\/sup>\nLoise B. and 3rd<\/sup> Molly.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ysgol Carrog winners are 1st<\/sup> Thomas Scott, 2nd<\/sup>\nRiley Dyke and 3rd<\/sup> Lois Garratt-Smith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
